Chapter 93 - Private Ball

Henry didn't want to be eavesdropping on a conversation he wasn't meant to hear but he couldn't help his curiosity. 

He felt like he was holding his breath until he heard her answer. 

"Better company, though," she said. "He hasn't gone on about his accomplishments in battle despite having more to tell than most of you who went."

A smile appeared on his face. 

He was going to have to pretend he didn't hear anything because he was worried about how cold she was. 

Leaving the tree and returning to the path, he confidently strode forward until he was next to the princess. 

"Your highness," he said and held up the cloak. 

"Thank you, Henry," she smiled up at him and turned around so he could put the cloak over her until they could finish their walk. 

"Good night, Sir Jones," the princess said.
