Infuriated, Helen pushed herself to her feet and charged toward Salma. But she didn't get to her destination when a spear hit her from the back, piercing its way through her flesh and spreading dragon's venom through her body.
She fell face-first to the ground, grinding her teeth in agony as the pain from the venom began to flow through her.
