Li Xia slowed her speed once she reached the main hall. She leaned over the balustrade and inhaled deeply. She was holding her breath, trying her best not to let the tears stream down from her eyes. She felt as if something was choking her. She wanted to scream but her mouth wouldn't cooperate. She wanted to cry but the pain in her heart wouldn't allow her to.
"Calm down, Li Xia," she whispered to herself.
With a loud sigh, she straightened her back up and plastered a faint smile on her lips. Before walking further into the room, she scanned her surroundings before entering. She spotted Zai Hai standing near the bar area with a drink in his right hand.
Li Xia walked forward and sat next to him. He noticed her and smiled at her. Li Xia gave him a weak smile in return and stopped moving.
"Are you alright?" he inquired while handing her a drink.
