Li Xia was sitting on the couch with her glass of juice in her hand while her mind wandered to the conversation she had with Jing Xing.
"Is it my thinking? Just my one-sided love?" she asked herself, her index finger tracing the glass rim of her glass slowly. Her eyes moved from the rim of her glass to Luo Yuan who was busy preparing the ingredients for the hotpot. He didn't seem to notice her staring at him. Her fingers stopped drawing circles on the rim of her glass.
Her mind drifted back to their encounter earlier today at the market. When Luo Yuan touched her hand in that brief moment, she felt a wave of warmth flooding through her.
Ring! Ring!
Li Xia jolted up on the couch, startled from her trance out of her seat abruptly, spilling a little juice on her white blouse. Luo Yuan looked at her with raised brows and walked towards where she was standing.
