"Mr. Luo, I thought you weren't coming," Louis extended his hand toward Luo Yuan.
"I had to come," Luo Yuan replied with a nod, reaching out to shake Louis' hand. Li Xia observed the interaction between both of them, and the intensity in their eyes sent a shiver down her spine.
"Could it be... jealousy? '' Li Xia thought to herself she couldn't help but smile. This was the exact reaction she hoped to elicit from Luo Yuan - pure jealousy.
"It's your turn Li Xia," Luo Yuan prompted as he let go of Louis' hand, and tucked his hands in his pockets. But Li Xia stood there immersed in her own thoughts, her gaze fixated on Louis who was standing in front of her.
Luo Yuan looked where she was looking. He frowned and snapped his finger in front of Li Xia's eyes, snapping her out of her thoughts so that eyes could look at him instead of Louis.
"Huh?" She blinked rapidly, snapping out of her daze and finally giving attention to Luo Yuan.
