Red then raised her hands and vines of fire shot out, attacking the powerful seals all at once.
But while Jonas and Glen were starting to panic, they quickly saw that it wasn't an attack at all and that Red was using her vines of fire to fill these purple seals with her own energy so that she could then take control over them and undo them.
When all the seals were bright red, Red changed their shape several times using the techniques that Mia had taught James and Cassy, because each time it had been with her that James had learned to undo the seals, and so Red had become an expert in the matter.
Her only weakness at the time was that it took her too much time to undo them and that it exhausted James considerably.
That's why both of them, without Mia realizing what they were doing, had looked for a solution to temporarily boost her powers.
