Steven didn't doubt for a moment that Adrian didn't already have a strategy in place to win his fight, so he focused his attention on his own opponent and listened to his best friend's advice.
Once the countdown was over and the fight started, Steven ran headlong towards his opponent who despite his new speed still had time to use the special technique that allowed him to increase his own speed and so just at the start of the fight, Steven had already lost his advantage because now he was moving as fast as him.
This guy was really resourceful and he had done the movements to trigger this special technique while moving to another corner of the platform to avoid a direct confrontation with him.
Steven then saw him do the same movements as before and three mini tornadoes appeared instantly.
