At the end, James reassured him, telling him that their journey, to him and Ethan, should be easier than his because as Cassy was able to increase their potential by evolving their pocket dimension, breaking through to the next nevel, should be done without too much difficulty for them.
Ryan after that introduced him to his flames and James was amazed at the harmony that reigned between them.

And he finally left them when Mia contacted him and Ryan told him that he would stay here until Ethan finished leveling up and then they would both go back to their room at the Academy.
