Cassy smiled and she conjured up the dagger that Glen had finally given back to her, the one she had found with Steven just before going to the Academy for the first time, telling her that he hadn't been able to destroy the seals that protected it but that nevertheless, she could still use it.
Strangely enough, she could feel the same energy around the dagger that this Mage was using right now, and Angel and her red flame confirmed to her that it was well the same energy that protected this dagger.
So Cassy said to her red flame when she had finished sending her fire soldiers to protect her father, Glen and Jonas, "Until my mother can take a closer look at this dagger and break the seals that protect it, I have a feeling that we need to use it to defeat this energy source… so, fill it with your energy and let's go, lead the way."
The blade of the dagger then turned bright red and a white aura surround it too.
