Steven finally answered his question to reassure him, "They are 17, and on our side, counting our evolved flames like one of us, they are 12, 14 once Twilight and Art join them, so it should be fine, don't worry.
As I said, I only counted the evolved flames but James, Carol and Liam's flames are all powerful, and they all have a lot of experience."
Roman sighed because he knew that Steven was right and that he should obey his uncle's orders, but it was still very frustrating to not be able to go fight with them.
He then told Twilight and Art what had just happened and he told them to get rid of the three mercenaries they were fighting as soon as possible so they could go help the others.
Twilight then explained to him that between evolved flames, even from a different master, as long as they knew each other they could keep in touch with each other and therefore she and Art were already aware of the ambush and that they had only one mercenary left to eliminate.
