Through the connection with their flames, Roman and Steven could follow every move of this superior Demon and as all the evolved flames could communicate with each other Steven also knew where Twilight and Art were and what they were doing.
As their flames were fighting on their behalf, Roman swallowed another darkness special pill and Steven swallowed a fire one, and then they began to harass this superior Demon.
They didn't know how much time Cassy needed, but being able to teleport into the Divine Space gave them a definite advantage.
Also, thanks to Twilight, neither Roman nor Steven were affected by the loss of the 5 senses of the Absolute Darkness spell and the only thing that was bothering them was that they couldn't move as fast as they would like, and since their visibility was also affected, sometimes forcing them to narrowly avoid an attack.
