She muttered, and Valerio, who was very bewildered, stared at her with confused eyes.
"Chloe, what are you doing—"
Before his sentence could be completed, Chloe unexpectedly hugged him, her arms tightly wrapped around him. "I really missed you so much, Valerio." She said in a very soft, pessimistic tone. "I missed you so very much." She continued, her arms never letting go of him.
Valerio's eyes widened, and he blinked his lashes, not exactly sure what was going on.
Why was Chloe suddenly at his house?
And why does she keep going on about how she misses him and all that?
The last time they met was at the party, so, what was this all about?
He wondered, and feeling this ill intent emanating from someone beside him, he turned his head to glimpse Everly, who was gazing at Chloe with deadliness mixed with sorrow in her eyes.
His eyes shifted to her balled fist, and he instantly became overwhelmed with bewilderment.
