Everly arrived back at the mansion and pulled her phone out of the pocket of her jacket.
She looked at the screen and gasped in shock upon seeing twenty-five missed calls from Valerio.
"Wait, what!" She exclaimed and checked, only to realize that her phone was in silent mode.
"You have got to be kidding me!" She quickly hurried into the building and proceeded towards the elevator.
The elevator took her up to the second floor, and she made her way to Valerio's room.
As she proceeded to open the door, she looked at her wrist watch to realize that it was already 1 a.m.
"So late!" She exclaimed under her breath and pushed the door open.
She walked inside to see Valerio already asleep on the bed.
Heavy guilt immediately washed over her, and she threw her phone on the couch.
She hurried towards the bathroom to take her shower, but before she could walk in, Valerio's voice sounded.
"Your scent smells a bit different." He said.
