Everyone had been so deeply concerned about Valerio that they ended up forgetting to ask about Nix, who was saving him.
His ability was not the type that could be used anyhow. It was an ability only meant to be used in critical situations, and during the usage, the person who is doing the healing ends up getting drained of nearly all the energy he or she had within him or her.
So that was the actual reason why Nix was looking very pale and sick.

He quickly grabbed his head, trying to calm himself down, but when the second wave of dizziness hit him hard this time around, he ended up nearly collapsing to the floor if not for Vincent, who acted quickly and grabbed a hold of him.
