He stood staring at her, not knowing what to give her as an answer.
"Does he?" She pried, determined to know.
Valerio let out a soft breath and half smiled at her. "No. He doesn't hate us. We all just have a little misunderstanding, so we are not on good terms. That's just it. He doesn't hate us." He explained, unwilling to make her sad or instill any of those terrible memories in her.
"I see. I don't know, but... I have a feeling that he doesn't like me at all." She smiled pessimistically. "Although he seems to like you a lot." She chuckled softly and immediately confused, Valerio frowned at her.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"Well, he didn't want to talk to me or even look at me yesterday. But he was beside you throughout, and he was really worried too." She elucidated, and unable to bear the gloom he was seeing in her eyes, Valerio warmly embraced her and brushed her hair with his fingers.
