"Because it's the same. Having parents who hate you is the same as having no parents at all. I mean, you feel no love from them, and they will not show you comfort when you need it. They won't stick up for you either. So there's really no point there. The only difference is that you won't be an orphan and spend your time in an orphanage or a foster home."
Everly elucidated, and finding her words valid, Leia slowly nodded her head.
"You have a point." She replied and gobbled down a glass of wine.
"Do you wish you had one?" She inquired.
"Hmm?" Everly lifted her head to look at her. "Well, I just recently found out that I actually have one, but the problem is... they simply didn't want me. It hurts a lot. But then again, I don't know them, so I don't have a reason to be hurt." She responded, gulping her liquid down.
