Lucius stared at him and smiled. "This may be difficult, but... as long as you swear never to even think of or attempt to kill me no matter what in the future, I will take back my order and grant you permission." He stated his condition, and a frown immediately appeared on Valerio's face.
"What sort of condition is this?" He questioned.
"A condition is a condition, Valerio. It is up to you if you can accept it... or not. You don't think that I am going to let you save your human friend without getting something in return."
"A life for a life! If you are going to save him, then I might as well use this as an opportunity to keep mine." Lucius smirked, and immediately understanding the intention behind such a smile, anger filled Valerio, and he tightly balled his hands into tight fists,
"Of course, you are always going to be a corny man! What did I expect?" He chuckled softly, and in response, Lucius smiled at him.
