Everly paced back and forth in the room, unsure of how she would begin the conversation once Valerio arrived back.

"Ahhhh!" She groaned in annoyance at how she had behaved in the morning and quickly turned her head when she heard the door handle turn.
The door opened, and the moment she glimpsed Valerio, she rushed towards him, jumping into his arms and tightly hugging him.
Valerio, who was confused and appalled by that, flickered his eyes.
