Seated in his wheelchair, Everly wheeled Victor out of his room and proceeded to the garden downstairs in the backyard.
They entered the backyard, and Everly carefully closed the glass door.
She wheeled him to the center of the garden, where there was a white swing built in.
"Let's have a seat there." Victor said to her, and carefully, she helped him up and walked him toward the swing.
She sat him down and took her seat beside him.
A minute passed, and they stayed silent, not saying a word to each other.
"So... what was it that you wanted to speak to me about?" Everly asked, no longer able to take the awkward silence.
Victor glanced at her and cleared his throat.
"It's about our past lives." He began.
"Victor, I said I was not interested, and neither should you bring up our... "
"Just hear me out, Everly." Victor cut her off.
