He nervously grabbed a hold of his phone, knowing very well that something must have happened for Everly to suddenly call him and tell him that.
A heavy breath fled his nose, and he dialed Everly's number.
He patiently waited for the call to be picked up, but it unfortunately wasn't.
He got even more worried and couldn't help but raise the speed of the car to arrive home a bit more quickly.
Once he did, he parked the car, got out, and rushed into the house.
He dashed to the living room too and looked around.
