A deep breath fled his nose, and he plopped down into the chair close to the window.
He buried his face in his palms and suddenly began to snivel, clearly in pain.
"Why do I feel so hurt? Wasn't this what I wanted?" He asked himself, unable to dismiss the ache he was feeling in his heart.
He saw this day coming and wanted to stop it.
He could feel that Valerio was softening towards him a little bit, and he wanted to stop it, but finding himself enjoying and smiling at it, he couldn't bring himself to ruin it.
He felt a bit happy being able to talk to him again and have proper conversations with him that didn't involve little, sulking fights.
He could never forget the moment he hugged him. It reminded him of when Valerio was still just a little boy.
When they were a great father and son... But now, all that is gone.
