"What... do you mean by "you might die along with him?" Perplexed, Valerio asked.
Vincent took a deep breath to get himself together and proceeded to explain.
"Valerio, a twin bond, is similar to a mate bond. You feel pain when your partner gets hurt, and it feels like you will die along with them when they die. I cannot imagine losing my twin brother. Do you know how much it will hurt? I may not even be able to fight the pulling urge to die along with him."
Now understanding what he meant, Valerio slightly nodded his head. "I see..." he muttered and stood up from the couch.
"Well, you don't have to be afraid. Your brother is not going to die. I am sure he will be fine, just like I am."
"But what if he ends up not being fine?" Vincent asked.
"Don't assume the worst, Vincent. Be positive," Valerio said to him and walked over to wake Nix up.
