Without answering, Valerio grabbed him and hurried towards his SUV. He unlocked the car and had Nix get in.
He sat down in the driver's chair and started the car's engine.
"Valerio, what is going on?" Nix asked.
Valerio drove out of the compound and onto the road.
"Vincent is in danger," he replied.
"In danger? How? I am really confused." Nix stared at him with a worried look on his face, seeking answers.
"Earlier, before I came out of the mansion, Leia saw a future, and it had to do with Vincent. She said she is being held at some deserted place by his father and that if we don't help him soon, he may... Valerio pinched between his brows, unable to complete his sentence.
"He may what?" Nix questioned.
Valerio looked at him. "He may...die."
