Standing at the window in his office, Nix intently stared at the dark sky. He turned around at the sound of the door to his office opening.
"Nix!" Valerio's voice sounded.
Nix looked at him. "Have you seen Vincent?" He asked.
"Yes." Valerio nodded and sighed deeply. "Can I have a word with you?"
Nix slightly furrowed his brows. "Why?" he inquired.
"I want to talk to you about what happened last time," Valerio responded.
Nix stared at him and took his coat off. He grabbed his phone from the table, and they proceeded out of the room.
Along the way, Valerio stopped by the vending machine to buy two cans of beer.
They exited the building to sit on the bench under the dark sky.
"Here." Valerio handed one of the canned beers to him.
Nix received it with a half-smile on his face. "Thanks."
