Early the next morning, Valerio took Daphne to Nix's hospital.
He walked into the hospital while tightly holding her hand. The nurse took them to Nix's office, considering that he had made an appointment before even coming.
She pushed the door open, and together with Daphne, Valerio walked in. He glanced at the table to see Nix, who was busy with some rumpled documents.
"What are you doing?" he asked.
Nix immediately lifted his head and looked at him.
"I messed up these documents, and they are the patient's documents," he responded with a stressed expression on his face.
Valerio flickered his eyes. "I see." He walked over to the chair with Daphne to sit down.
"Can you look at her now?" He asked.
"Yes, sure." Nix nodded and packed the files into his drawer.
