Everly turned around to walk back into the house, but she suddenly found herself unable to move. She quickly turned her head and looked at Sheitan.
"What are you doing to me?" she questioned.
Sheitan shrugged.
"Nothing. Just stopping you from leaving." He took a deep breath. "You are just as stubborn as your mother."
"I just need to talk to you, and that is all. We can go to a cafe and have a proper conversation. Daughter and father, yes." He smiled widely at her, seeming playful.
Everly frantically flickered her eyes. "You…w-what…?" she stuttered, completely speechless. She took deep breaths and swallowed before speaking. "Release me!"
"I will." Sheitan nodded. "But only if you agree to have a word with me."
Everly stared at him for a few seconds, as though pondering. She deeply exhaled and nodded her head.
"Fine, I will go with you and have a word with you, so release me!"
Sheitan warmly smiled at her, letting her go.
