Valerio, who obviously heard Everly's scream before the phone was broken, furiously blinked his eyes, very sure that someone must have done something to her.
He had heard another male voice, but for some reason, he can't seem to remember where he had heard that voice before.
It was familiar, but the more he tries to recall it, the more he finds it impossible to do.
"Hmmm…" He began to ponder but turned his head when a knock came on the door.
"Come in." He gave his permission.
Alex, who was at the door, pushed it open and stepped inside.
He slightly bowed and straightened up with his hands placed behind his back.
"Is there a problem?" Valerio asked.
"No, master. But, someone has come to see you." Alex reported.
A curious expression immediately spread across Valerio's face, unsure who would come looking for him at his mansion.
