Everly awoke early in the morning and yawned as she stretched her muscles.
This has got to be the most peaceful, sweetest sleep she has ever had.
She chuckled softly and glanced beside her on the bed, only to find the space empty.
"Sir…Avalanzo…" She muttered and peeked behind the bed, only to see him lying on the blanket on the floor with his head resting on the pillow.
"Oh shit…" She immediately covered her mouth, knowing instantly that it was probably because of her that he was sleeping on the floor.
"I hope you had a good sleep-" Valerio's weary voice abruptly sounded, causing her to flinch back. "-Because I surely didn't." He took a deep breath and stood up to plop down into the bed.
"W-why did you sleep on the floor?" With her head lowered, Everly asked.
"Everly, if you ask me that question again, I will throw you out through that window." Valerio spoke with his face buried in the bed.
