Selena's POV
"I will kill him for treating you this way, that jerk!" Dad angrily said as he buckled my seatbelt, and I suddenly felt scared since I haven't seen my dad this angry.
"I am sorry I wasn't able to protect you, Selena," he added as he started the car, and I could hear Gwen's voice outside the car.
"Dad, wait!" She shouted, and I couldn't speak. I felt too hurt and too broken to utter a single word. I never thought Skyler had the power to make me feel this way.
"It was so chaotic in there; Stanley was so angry with Skyler, he lost his control, and for the first time, I saw how he looked when he was angry. He was scary enough; if it wasn't for Don Florencio, I don't know what would happen to Sky." Gwen said and narrated everything, but I no longer cared about him.
