Skyler's POV
"When are you going to marry her, Skyler?" my father asked right after Selena left the dining hall. I wanted to follow and tell her everything would be all right because I could tell she walked out of the dining room because she felt anxious and upset about our lies.
I knew Selena even if I hadn't seen her for how many years; her gestures were enough to tell me she felt uneasy sitting beside me even if I couldn't see her; she was upset that I hadn't told my father it was a big lie; but I wished to make it real.
"I knew you didn't marry her because you and Stan would never keep a secret from me; that is one of the things I love you, boys, the most; I may be old now, but you can't fool me." He said, and I could tell he was disappointed in us.
"I am sorry, Dad," Stan and I both responded.
