Selena's POV
My heart was beating so fast, and no matter how I controlled my breathing, I could still feel the pounding on my chest. I didn't dare to move as I ignored his presence; Skyler smelled damn so good that I had to close my eyes when I inhaled his intoxicating scent, and his proximity was killing me.
"Please, Selena, don't run away this time; you can curse and call me names. You have all the right to get angry, but you should hear me out." He said, and his sweet voice made my knees go weak.
"I admit I was a coward, but you have all the right to know what was in my heart. I love you so much that it felt like my heart had been cut into a million pieces when I saw the video." He declared, and I tensed up. I couldn't tell Skyler that the video was all a lie.
