Selena's POV
I could feel my father's anxiousness as we traversed the road going to our mother's house. I could tell he was so excited to be reunited with his beloved wife after so many years of separation.
"Dad, relax. Everything will be fine," I said as I looked at him in the rearview mirror.
"How can I relax? I had been waiting for this moment for so long. I hope she still feels the same way towards me." He answered.
"Of course, I am sure about that," I answered.
"Do I look okay?" He asked, and I laughed.
"Dad, you still look hot and handsome. I am sure Mom would be thrilled to see you again." I responded, and my father blushed like a teenage boy going on his first date.
"Are you ready?" I asked Dad after he climbed out of the vehicle after we pulled over on my mother's driveway.
"Never been ready in my entire life," he answered with a wide grin.
