Skyler's POV
"You have no right to hurt, Selena, you bastard!" I said as I punched his face and kicked his side, and I didn't notice we were no longer alone; my brother helped me beat the man who tried to rob Selena.
"Stopped! Stan, we can't be criminals," I shouted at my brother when I saw the man stumbling and groaning on the ground.
"Call the police while I call 911," I added as I kneeled beside Selena while my phone was on my ear.
"Selena, are you okay?" I softly asked after I called 911, but she didn't answer me, and she didn't even move, which made me feel nervous.
I checked her airways and pulse and was thankful she was breathing normally, and I didn't need to do CPR. Maybe she collapsed because of her fear. She was traumatized, and I felt thankful I drove back home but a little disappointed with myself; I should have come home sooner.
