Skyler's POV
I got out and picked up my gym bag from the backseat of my car, and I walked towards the main door of our mansion, humming my favorite song. It was already late, but I didn't care if I had to wait for Selena's shift to be over.
I don't feel at ease knowing she will ride a bus late at night, especially after what happened the last time because of her fellow worker from the cafe; I was jealous of Neil even if she only cared for her as a friend.
Selena almost got hurt because of Neil's debts; if I didn't come on time that night, I would have regretted it for the rest of my life; that is why I always fetch my girlfriend after her work even if I was tired from practice, especially now that we shared intimate moments. I knew we became closer to each other as the days went by.
