Selena's POV
"Are you sure you don't want to come with us?" My sister asked over the phone.
"Yes, I am; enjoy your night, Gwen," I replied, and she giggled on the other line.
"I will, don't worry; I will do everything I can tonight to kiss Stanley," she whispered. I know she was riding in the back of my best friend's car, and I couldn't believe she would say something like that, knowing Stanley was in the driver's seat.
"You have to promise me, Gwen, you will not do something stupid," I said with authority, and she let out a soft sigh before she answered me.
"Don't worry, Mom, I will behave like a good girl," she replied, and I knew she would feel irritated every time I acted like a mother to her.
"Enjoy, Gwen, and goodbye," I said since I was worried that Skyler had called me already, and he couldn't get through since I was talking with my sister.
