Stephanie was still convinced it was all a dream. She had been irritated with her mother for a long time for forgetting her birthday. For a brief moment, she believed her mother was about to revert to her old self, who couldn't recall anything related to her family.
However, she realized how silly she was when her nanny and Agnes abruptly summoned her to her bedroom and began dressing her in things she had never seen before.
"What's happening?" Agnes, who was always by her mother's side, inquired.
It was meaningless to ask her nanny because she, too, was in the dark.
Since it had already reached this point, Agnes grinned as she replied to the young mistress, "We are getting you ready for your birthday banquet. You don't imagine the Lady has forgotten about it?"
