The elders had forgotten that their daughter had kidnapped such a young, vulnerable young man and made him her own. Unlike Quinton, who was shameless and a little cold, O'Neal was cheerful and good with words, especially when he was relaxed.
Sarah had to console Quinton by holding his hand beneath the table, but she couldn't stop laughing at O'Neal's jokes.
Sarah never bothered to explain how she ended up with O'Neal in the first place, and no one dared to ask such a delicate question. They all got along well and had a good time together.
