A while ago…
Rei excitedly opened the back door of the car to see Henry's reaction when he finally faced Amy formally.
His boss and best friend, Henry Welsh is the successor and CEO of Welsh Holdings, Inc. It's been a week since he informed him that he found what he was looking for.
To his surprise, Henry was very interested in Amy as soon as he showed him her picture. He did things that he had not done with his previous contract girlfriends.
Henry had girlfriends who were celebrities, rich and famous, but compared to Amy, who is good-looking herself; their status and beauty are far more superior than hers. But she definitely captured this stoic and heartless man's eyes.
'What's with this guy, he's acting weird ever since he saw her. So impatient tsk.'
Rei thought after he saw Henry get out of the car when Amy was just standing still. Henry didn't even look at him; his eyes were fixed on Amy.
What happened next literally stunned Rei. He didn't expect Henry to just attack and dive into Amy like that.
He is a very private person and hates PDA. He never got intimate with someone else; he's a person who's always reserved.

"I'm sorry Henry, I mean Mr. Welsh but this is too much HAHAHA…"
Rei laughed his heart out, he knew he might get reprimanded later on because of that. He just couldn't help it; his throat was itching to tease Henry after seeing how shocked he was after Amy touched him down there.
"Your little devil is too excited you might not be able to reach the party tonight HAHAHA!"
He said with teary eyes. Henry threw him a deadly glare, but he was laughing so hard to the point of squatting, almost sitting on the ground that he didn't notice the way he was looking at him.
Amy was frowning trying to understand what Rei just said. When she finally understood her situation, she covered her mouth with both hands and looked at Henry with wide eyes.
`Oh my GOD! Did I just really touch his little friend down there? So that's how it feels like… OH MY GOD! What did I just do?′ Amy thought inwardly.
Henry closed his eyes and pinched himself between his brows. He was so annoyed with Rei's reaction and he wanted to throw him a punch so he would shut up.
But at the same time, he did not expect her to do that. Even if she didn't mean it, oh boy he was so aroused and embarrassed at the same time that he is sure, he is blushing hard.
"Get inside; let's talk about our contract before going to the party."
Amy got in first while Henry instructed the driver to get out of the car.
Henry handed Amy the copy of the contract instructing her to turn the page to the list of his conditions.
"Before I start with my conditions, I want to hear directly from you what's your intention of doing this?"
He was sitting sideways. Facing her, looking directly at Amy's eyes searching for any hint of lies or deception.
'God she looks prettier up close. Those lips taste so sweet and she smells so good.'
Henry was elated after kissing her; he couldn't believe that he lost his control like that in front of Rei and his security team.
'I cannot wait to take her home. I must make her mine no matter what. She's my angel and I would not allow her to slip through my fingers.'
Amy faced him and smiled innocently. Her facial expression displayed pure intention and desperation at the same time. She showed him how vulnerable she is right now while giving him her full trust.
Amy did not hesitate to answer his question with full honesty since she thought that it was for the best so that she could get things done quickly.
"My family died in a car accident almost 3 years ago, leaving my injured nephew and niece. My niece is out of the woods but my nephew isn't.
He is still in the hospital now needing more surgeries. I lost almost everything and will definitely lose all that's left if I do not do anything.
I heard from Rei that you pay women to be your girlfriend for 6 months. I am willing to do it."
Henry shook his head with a smirk on his face.
"Did he tell you how much I pay those women?" He inquired.
Amy nodded, "Sort of, he said he cannot give an exact amount but it's around 3-5 million."
Henry sighs at her reply.
"Hmm, he is right but the amount changes depending on how I think of the woman, how much is her worth in my eyes."
It was a heartless remark but he wanted to tell her the truth.
"Did he tell you what I do with them? Or what do they do for me?"
Amy hasn't really thought of those things for she was only interested in the payment and experiencing being in a relationship for her book.
"Not really, we haven't talked much. I guess you do just the normal things a couple would do in a relationship," Amy replied.
Henry then probed more, "And what are those normal things?"
Amy is now fazed by his questions, she notices that he seems to be enjoying his interrogation.
"I guess going on dates, like watching movies, eating out, kissing, and hugging… that sort of thing."
Henry scoffed and tried hard not to laugh out loud in front of her.
'She's really this innocent and naive? She will definitely run away if she only knows what I am planning to do to her.'
"It's interesting how you see the world. But that's not my world Amy. I pay those women so I can fu… Erhm… hmm… So they can satisfy my needs," he carefully rephrased.
'FUCK! Why am I being careful with my words with her?' He cursed inwardly.
"They were carefully chosen to my preference for I show them off when I attend some events. They must be someone who cannot tarnish my reputation. They are merely trophy girlfriends with benefits. I don't do dates with them; we only meet in bed and parties," he explained further.
"However, if you do this, you have to live with me and spend all your free time with me. You will sleep in my bed and I am sure that I won't be able to hold myself from touching you, just like what happened earlier. I believe that this is your first time in a relationship and I can't promise I can be gentle with you all the time."
He moves closer to Amy and holds her chin.
"I am never gentle, I like it rough my angel and you might not be able to take it. So you have to take that into consideration before signing the contract," Henry gasped and exhaled heavily before moving back.
He is surprised at himself that he is explaining these things calmly to Amy. When in fact his inner self wanted to touch Amy all over her body and pound her right then and there.
Rei already gave him a report on everything that he could find about Amy including her family's history. And he knows that 5 million is not enough to solve her problems.
'She needs more than this but she's only asking for so little, just enough to cover her nephew's needs,' Henry frowned at his thought.
Amy is offering him herself but is not asking for what she truly deserves. Still, Henry wanted to know what she was thinking.
"And do you think that's enough to pay for all your debts?"
Amy pressed her lips tight and breathed in deeply. "Not enough for everything I need, but it will make the urgent surgeries happen."
"So how much is enough Ms. Bell? When I instructed Rei to look for someone pure and innocent, you offered yourself because you're a virgin. How much should I pay you then?"
There's a hint of frustration in Henry's voice for she is willing to throw away herself like that. And thinking what if other men offered it, Amy might have accepted it too, makes his blood boil to the extreme just imagining it.
Amy felt so small and humiliated by her answer, she was looking down on her lap while her fingers fidgeted on their own.
Henry sighed heavily and pushed his head back to the seat. He saw the ignominy on her face he immediately regretted what he said.
He touched her with the back of his right hand and caressed her left cheek gently.
"You're this desperate huh? You're even willing to sell your vir… uhm… your first to me..."
Deep inside he was glad that he found her and not other men, and it's him who will take care of her from now on.
Amy stiffened with his touch and words that her ears turned red. His hand felt like fire on her skin. Even though what he said is true, it is still embarrassing for her to hear it from him.
He then took back his hand and took another envelope from the center console.
"This won't do, I don't want you to be my girlfriend if this is your reason."
Then there it is, the answer that she doesn't want to hear. Amy felt like she was poured with ice water with what she heard. Her heart started pounding hard right that moment.
She doesn't know what is happening, earlier he kissed her and now he is saying that he doesn't want her to be his girlfriend.
Didn't Rei tell him her circumstances already? Did he really reject her? What will happen to her nephew now? Where will she get that amount in such a short period of time?
Her knuckles clutched her dress so tight trying to stop herself from crying right then and there, she shut her eyes in anguish.
The next thing that Henry said put her in complete shock and disbelief.
"Be my wife instead."
There was a long pause between them. Henry waited for her answer while watching her reaction closely.
Amy finally pulled herself together and broke the silence.
"W-what D-did y-you s-say?" Amy honestly thought that she misheard him due to her despair.
