"You can call me by my name," Cane said with his eyes still closed, while Iris undressed in front of him. He leaned his back against the sofa.
Most of the time, unless Iris was overwhelmed or agitated, she would call Cane as 'alpha'. Before, when she was still a slave to him, she would call him her master, but right now, he wanted her to call him by his name.
It was a rare occasion for Iris to call him by his name, but now she remembered, every time she did that, Cane never corrected her.
"Cane."
"Hm?"
Somehow, Iris felt giddy when she called him by his name. "Thank you for taking care of me."
There was no answer from Cane and Iris almost thought he fell asleep, but then instead of answering her question, he asked her. "What else are you allergic to?"
