Because it was quite a large entourage, it was quite hard to find people as they constantly moved and only got very little time to take breaks during this long journey.
Although their journey was not smooth sailing and they met a few monsters on their way, there was nothing major to be worried about.
Everything went well until the seventh day when someone found two guards under Ethan's command dead in the most gruesome way. Their bodies had been torn into pieces, their hands were crushed and their eyes bulged out of their sockets. These two guards didn't even seem to have time to shift into their beasts before they were killed silently.
It was not clear how the murderer could get away without anyone noticing.
