This soft smoke in the shape of wolf was in the same color as Cane's wolf and this gave off the same feeling as when she saw a similar thing appear when Alpha Gill tried to disgrace her. But Cane didn't seem to see it. He didn't give any indication that he did, even though the black smoke floated above his head, as if it was a living thing.
"Calm down, Iris!" Cane said sternly, he didn't want to hurt her, but she wouldn't stop struggling to get away from him and rush further into the forest. "You can go anywhere, but not the forest!"
He would let her do whatever she wanted to vent out her anger, but not to the point of endangering herself.
However, Iris couldn't take it anymore, she felt so suffocated to be in that pack. She didn't want to return to that place and be in that awkward situation with them anymore, especially after what happened with Kaz and the others.
