Apparently, Ethan made a bet with the seven warriors on how it would end and how many more weeks they would stay in the dungeon until the Alpha's anger subsided and they were allowed to go back within the ranks.
All of them thought they would spend at least one or two months there before the Alpha finally summoned them back.
But, Ethan was pretty confident when he said they would get out once their luna found out.
The Gamma did that because he wanted to save money, but also because he wanted to make the situation not as serious as it looked like for them, since they looked so guilty to fail their assignment, as he knew, Cane punished them out of impulse.
"I told you, you can rely on our luna!" Ethan laughed. "Now, the seven of you will take turns to pay for my meals for the next two weeks! You can choose the day!"
