With piles of work that he had to do in order to get his pack back to its feet as soon as possible before they left for the Riverside pack and Diandem pack and how he had to keep his eyes on the turmoil that happened in the capital city, not to mention Aderan caused trouble by taking away the queen, such matter would bite Cane someday if someone learned about this and needless to say, it would be another headache to be tackled down.
For now, Cane sent people in search for Aderan and dragged him back before he could board the ship. With the war for the throne that happened for weeks now, there were not many ships sailed. It gave them time to find Aderan and the queen.
Iris knew about all of that and felt bad because she woke him up.
