Iris was woken up when she heard loud growls and snarls, followed by the door was being slammed opened and five to seven warriors poured inside the room.
She immediately covered herself with blanket and sat down, but her attention was on the door, those warriors were dumbstruck in their track upon seeing what was going on inside.
Once Iris followed their line of sight, Iris screeched, she quickly covered her mouth with her hands when she watched Cane ripped a beast's body, he twisted it limbs and removed it from its body. He threw its hindleg to the floor, while his expression filled with malice.
He did all of that in his human form, one could only imagine how strong he was to be able to fight a beast without shifting.
Iris watched Cane's side profile and when he tilted his head, finally noticed Iris was awake now, she could see how his eyes had turned so red.
