Murong Qiao was familiar with the layout of the Central Hospital.
"Hello, is there a patient called Gong Qing?" Murong Qiao asked as she stopped at the front desk.
She explained the reason and the staff quickly found out about Gong Qing.
The receptionist at the front desk told her, "Gong Qing has been diagnosed with a mild bone fracture. She should be in Bed 5 in Area 1 on the third floor."
Murong Qiao then thanked her and took the elevator to the third floor.
The elevator slowly rose as the pungent smell of disinfectant wafted to the tip of her nose, making her feel suffocated.
Occasionally, there would be patients in wheelchairs along the corridor. Murong Qiao followed the instructions and found Gong Qing's ward. When she realized that he was not there, she asked the nurse.
"Gong Qing? I just helped send him into the operating theater. It's next door," the nurse replied.
