"Would you be able to recognize the men if you came in contact with them?" Tiamat asked.
"Probably not, their faces were covered and they too dressed in full black but perhaps If I heard them speak again but more than likely not if I'm being honest," she shook her head.
They were no more than disembodied voices in the shadows of the dark.
The flickering lamp light and her panic just made them more grotesque and distorted than they probably were under normal circumstances.
"This isn't over is it?" she asked.
Again she shuddered as she stared at the knife with the deadly blade that could have been lethal in the right hands.
"They saw your face and believed that you would be able to identify them, hence the reason they tried to kill you earlier."
Tiamat tried again to get her to speak about her terrifying experience, "What did you hear?"
