There is a matter that weighs heavily on my conscience. As I sit here in silence clouded by my thoughts it is not easy to put ink to paper.

The crux of the matter is that we both share a special arrangement with a mutual companion.
When I heard that our fastidious companion recently got married I was taken aback by the news.
For even though he has recently exchanged vows our relationship has not declined in the slightest.
As a close confidant I presumed that my opinion would have counted for something but alas it did not and though it may hurt I understand it is just the way of Dragon Court.
I believe that you are a lady who knows how to be objective and circumspect.
