Fiona did not know why all the protest had died down into tiny whimpers when the Black Flame flung her over his shoulders and escaped with her from the chapel.
Perhaps she was simply exhausted, maybe somewhere in the back of her mind she felt as if even if she protested nothing would be done to change the outcome of the situation.

From there she figured they would be going to his bedroom, away from prying eyes he allowed her to walk or more like being dragged along the corridor that led to his room.
