Fiona was not the only one who had never traveled this far north of Thornwyck.
Seth could not contain his excitement as they stared at the amazing scenery outside of the caravan.
"Look, Glenda, the mountains in the distance are still covered in snow this time of the year, that's amazing!" cried Seth.
"Aye, it is said that the snow never melts on the Alhambrian Mountains. Legend says that if the snow ever melts from their caps then the end of the world is at hand," answered Glenda.
Seth's mouth formed an "O" as Glenda's prophecy registered.
Amused by Seth's facial expression Fiona voiced her own thoughts, "I would never have imagined that such a magnificent scenery lay just seven days away from Thornwyck." Indeed, the spectacular views that she had seen so far outrivaled even the best botanical gardens she had visited in her youth when she lived in England.
