Two weeks later…
"Gritzl, you should have seen your face when you saw your bride for the first time," laughed Tiamat loudly, drawing attention to themselves as they walked down the street.
"Not funny man, you could have warned me."
Tiamat raised an eyebrow, "I assumed you knew when you claimed to have read through the contract already."
"I merely scanned it but I should have known better than to skip the fine print," he grumbled.
Turns out to Gritzl's great relief that his mini bride was just a proxy for his true wife Cedella Blaine.
According to Lord Blaine his beloved daughter Cedella had come down with a terrible but contagious illness.
The only other single lady in the Blaine household that could stand in for her was her younger sister Giselle.
Of course, Giselle was not having it, she wasn't above throwing a tantrum at her age when forced to do things she didn't like.
